staff accountant

Position:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Staff Accountant within Maestro’s Family Tax Division.  The Staff Accountant is a key member of each of our client teams. The role requires solid bookkeeping/accounting skills along with strong communication skills needed to interact directly with clients and their other advisors. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into multiple roles within the firm.

Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant will work with the other members of the client teams to ensure the following tasks are completed:

  • Preparation of tax returns for individuals and companies
  • Support on clients’ future tax planning
  • Review of financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
  • Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate for the position must be willing to learn new concepts and ideas.  They must be a hard worker and be comfortable sharing unique ideas and concepts.
  • The ideal experience will include:
    • 1+ years of accounting experience in an accounting firm or similar background
    • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field
    • CPA or CPA Candidate

 

Position Reports to:

Managing Partner of Maestro’s Tax and Advisory division
